Freight damage is covered — but the claim depends on what happens at the curb. If the crate or carton is visibly damaged, refuse the delivery and have the driver write the damage on the Bill of Lading or Freight Bill before he leaves; that note is what makes the claim stick. Photograph it and email the photos to info@homecomfortsdepot.com within 24 hours. Do that and we replace the item at no cost to you. If the box looked fine but you find damage after unpacking, still photograph it and email us within 24 hours of delivery so we can file the claim in time.
